Biography
Moira Marshall

Moira Marshall is a New Zealand artist working predominantly in oil paint on canvas. Her varied subjects include portraiture, figurative, nature, still life, and symbolic abstracts.

Moira has had a passion for visual art her whole life and draws her inspiration from everything around her. She loves to create her own unique interpretation of her subject, allowing the layers to transform and progress to create depth and vibrancy in her bold yet finely detailed, clean-lined realist style.


Moira MarshallMoira has studied photography at ATI ( Now AUT) and attended a course at ASA School of Art. In 2006 she trained under the tutelage of Wendy Leach (MFA).  More recently she has completed a course at Whitecliffe College of Arts and Design.

Moira regularly exhibits in group exhibitions nationally. Her work is held in collections in Britain, Singapore, Australia and throughout New Zealand.
