Fun with resinI have just finished this abstract painting called "Connections", it is finished with two layers of resin giving it a very highly polished glassy look which adds to the effect of looking through patterned glass.

I have only recently begun experimenting with resin, and must say that I do love it's glossy finish. Usually resin can only be used with acrylics, but I have found that it also works perfectly well with alkyd oil paint which is my medium of choice.

I was really stoked when the first person to see the painting bought it! Smile
