Congratulations to the designer of my website, Amie McCarron for being selected as a finalist in the 2008 Open Source Awards. A huge honour!  Amie is being recognized for her contribution to assisting NZ art by offering affordable website options to artists enabling them to promote their work.
I was quite chuffed that Amie chose to submit my website into the award for "Open Source Use in Business".
Open Source is software that is created and distributed free of charge and the code base is open for people to adapt for their own needs. http://www.nzosa.org.nz
